Since X-ray protection aprons are familiar and the most frequently used product to the customers, UniRay apron is focused on physical comfort, high protection and fashionability. They are also high-functioned and have the unique features. Not only the materials, they have also included the shoulder pad and the waist belt to effectively distribute the weight of the apron. Moreover, with the newly launched and world’s lightest lead-free protection sheet “KRYPTOLiTE” , you can wear the apron for many hours without feeling heaviness.

■ Features
　 - Patented World’s Lightest Lead-free Protection Material ”KRYPTOLiTE“
Lead-free material KRYPTOLiTE was developed by a joint development with Germany using patented chemical formulation.
It has a very high PWR (Protection to Weight Ratio), and its multi-layer technology absorbs fluorescence radiation and back scatter thus providing optimum safety to the user.
KRYPTOLiTE is compliant with New standard IEC 61331-1:2014 when tested as per BBG method. Flexible and well-fitting material will reduce fatigue, therefore, it is suitable to wear during long procedures. 



　 － Light weight Lead sheet
Through our lengthy research, we successfully developed lighter, softer and more tear resistant material than conventional lead sheet products. Both lead-free and lead-containing sheet materials were researched at a molecular level. We were successful in reducing the weight of the material by 10% without degrading the shielding performance. It complies with new IEC standard IEC 61331-1:2014, and it has been verified tests conducted by German research institutions.

　 - Temperature controller「Outlast™」
Outlast was developed for NASA to use as a material for spacesuits.
The microcapsules contained in the material absorb and store the heat, and when it gets colder, it releases the heat.
It is able to keep the temperature at the point where people feel most comfortable (31℃-33℃).
By using Outlast ™ for the inner material of the UniRay apron, it can help reduce perspiration and can be worn comfortably during the long hours of surgery.



　 - Particular Function
UniRay aprons use the improved shorter haired “Super Magic Tape.” It maintains the conventional adhesive strength and easier to detach even for women. Also, the short hairs will not damage the clothes and have less deterioration of adhesive strength due to less dust tangle. For the shoulder pad, soft and nonslip material was used to increase the comfort when wearing.
The waist belt can be adjusted in size and height, reducing the weight, which reduces fatigue even after wearing them for a long time, and it is easy to move around.



■ Coat Apron
It is the most popular model to protect the front of the body.
Built-in shoulder padding makes it feel lighter on shoulders.
The Coat Apron is available in velcro and buckle style.




■ Surgical Apron
It is easy to take off by simply removing the super magic tape.
After the surgery, it will be easier to be cared without the blood and chemicals attached.

■ Skirt & Vest
These models will not only protect the front but also will protect the back from the scattering x-rays.
They are separated in two parts, top and bottom, so it will reduce the weight on the shoulders and can be worn for a long period of time.

The front is overlapped by 15 cm, so it is easy to adjust to fit the body.
The overlapping part is protected with double shielding material.

　 -　Vest Maxx
The whole front portion is overlapped.
The Vest Maxx is designed to have the same lead equivalent weight for both overlapped and shoulder portions.

It's lighter than standard shoulder pads and waistbelts.
The back is shorter for increased user mobility.
